Registering an Instrument

Now that you have completed and signed your Instrument, you can now electronically register it.

Before we go ahead with electronic registration, let's have a look at the different locations in Teraview where you can register one or more Instruments (the registration process is the same from any location):

Register one or more Instruments from the Instrument List

From the Instrument List, you can select one or more Instruments using the checkboxes, and select Register from the green arrow menu to the right of any one of your selected Instruments.

Register an Instrument from any branch in the Instrument

From any branch in the Instrument, you can access the green arrow menu in the top right corner of the screen and select Register.

For the sake of this scenario, we will register our Instrument from the Instrument List.

To register the Instrument:

From the Home/Dockets screen, select your Docket in the list.
From the green arrow menu to the right of the Docket, select Open.

The Docket opens, displaying the Instrument List.

From the Instrument list, select the desired Instrument.
From the green arrow menu , select Open.

The Instrument displays.

From the green arrow menu in the top right corner of the screen, select Register.

The Register window opens.

The Instruments in Progress pane displays the Instruments you are working on in the Docket, and the Instrument(s) for Registration pane will display the Instrument you have selected for registration. You can select additional Instruments for registration, but for this scenario we will only register one.

Leave the Sub Search option selected to display the last registered Instruments on the property in the search results.
Select Register.

Select Continue.

A confirmation message displays.

Your Instrument is complete.

Select Close.
